Versa Gripps
03.2022 - 06.2024  [Contract - 12.2024]
Versa Gripps was an great experience that I happened upon after moving to Maine. When I was hired, I agreed to work in production, as we all did, sewing and building the Versa Gripp product. It was not long after that I transitioned into my customer service roll Versa Gripps was purchased and I was soon headed into a whirlwind of change, and below outlines 1 1/2 years of transitioning.
In a dynamic e-commerce environment, I improved order fulfillment, returns, and global shipping operations, cutting processing times and increasing customer satisfaction across 25,000+ annual orders. By negotiating carrier contracts and optimizing shipping strategies, I saved over $70K in 2023 while maintaining speed and reliability, and significantly reduced claims. I led and trained a service team to deliver responsive, high-quality customer support, updating customer-focused policies to strengthen the overall brand experience, and built Shopify backend stores for new vendors and private accounts.
On the design side, I redesigned packaging for Versa Gripps, and brands such as Gold’s Gym, and Anytime Fitness, leveraging research, customer feedback, and analytics to develop packaging content assisting and enhancing the customer experience. I also created a digital product measuring tool for Versa Gripps to assist customers in finding their ideal fit.
To say the least, I was never bored working for Versa Gripps. In fact, I was so busy, I left in June 2024 due to symptoms from long-COVID and a respiratory illness that I was not recovering. However, I did continue to freelance with both CEO's until December of 2024.
