As an artist, winter is a great time to make are. This winter, deer hunting is the theme, often misunderstood and controversial; many see hunting as a cruel sport. However, what I have learned has revealed Maine’s deep traditions, community bonds, and respect for nature. I've come to appreciate the intricate relationship between humans and wildlife and the lessons it offers. Through my art, I hope to challenge viewers to reflect on their connections to nature and recognize the beauty and complexity of hunting.
